The NSPCC, the UK’s leading children’s charity, have recently visited our school to deliver an assembly from the ‘Speak out. Stay safe’ programme with the help of their friendly mascot, Buddy. This is a nationwide programme to make sure children have the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse. The children have received information on how to keep themselves safe from harm and how to get help if they have any worries. In addition, children in Y5 and Y6 will receive further workshops to support their learning. If you would like any more information about the NSPCC ‘Speak out. Stay safe.’ programme, you can find it on the NSPCC website nspcc.org.uk/schools .
